Yes, the album is poppier than most country albums probably are but that's kinda the point.

I would say she's country-pop.

But anyway.

This song is wonderful. I didn't like it that much when I heard it about 25x after I bought Carnival Ride (2007). But these days, I find a treasure in it. Not only are the lyrics really good but none of the instrumentation bothers me as some other country songs do (especially by males).

Carrie tells her ex-boyfriend that he's not gonna get very far. It may look good at night what you're running around, but when the sun begins to shine you'll see the hole you're really in. And start it over if you must "while the moon is looking up", "but you won't find this."

Great vocals as usual.
