This review is from: You Can Write a Play! (Applause Books) (Paperback)
This is a great resource for the beginning playwright with tons of production photographs, diagrams and illustrations of the concepts discussed. It discusses everything from the history of plays to discovering ideas to plotting to creating characters, etc. Many other playwriting books give a particular author's style of crafting plays but this book really acts like a resource of various methods of crafting plays. It's also a great supplement to any course on the subject.
