5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED IT!, March 24, 2010
This review is from: Young Blood (Kindle Edition)
I LOVE Eve McFadden's writing! She grabs you from the very beginning until the very end! You just start reading and you can't stop until you read the last sentence. This has a little bit of both were's and vamps. You will not be disappointed! This was a great story! I definetly recommend this if you're a fan of thrills, vamps, weres, magic. It takes you away to another world.
LOVED IT!!!! I can not wait for more of her stories!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Sequel, February 23, 2010
This review is from: Young Blood (Kindle Edition)
Young Blood is a great sequel for Eve McFadden's earlier book, Exiled. This time the focus is on Jura Griet, the sister of Angela who was the heroine of Exiled, and her meeting with a vampire king (and all of the troubles that follow him). The story is a great mix of vampires, were's, and magic - definitely worth a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Twilight, January 15, 2010
This review is from: Young Blood (Kindle Edition)
Every bit as good as twilight, without all the teen angst. Sassy, fast-paced and, just like New Moon, there are both weres and vampires to contend with. And a happy ending!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very sexy mix of humor, eroticism, and adventure, January 6, 2012

I'm not a huge fan of the new vampire stories that have flooded the market in recent years, but I found Young Blood to be both sexy and entertaining. I was a huge Anne Rice fan back when she was writing her Vampire Chronicles, and far be it for me to criticize the great Anne Rice, but I have to say that Eve McFadden injects some elements into this story that I always felt were missing from Rice's stories: a little bit of levity, and a lot of sexiness that I, as a human, can relate to.

In Young Blood, our sexy Vampire Prince has -- are you ready? -- a sense of humor! Not stupid or over-the-top, but just enough to remind us that he was, once upon a time, human. And McFadden's description of "The Pull" and its effect on the protags was very erotic without being hardcore.

Throw in an evil Vampire Queen trying to kill them, and you have a true page-turner. Bravo!

I've read four of Eve's books now and enjoyed them all. She's a wonderul author and person. I've enjoyed chating with her and reading her novels. She's very talented and humble. I'll continue reading her books for as long as she continues writing.

All I can say about this book is it was great I loved the whole series.
I'm sorry I'm not a big writer so my review is short but when I say a series is good then they are good. I wouldn't take the time to do a review if it wasn't unless the book was bad then I would let you know to save your money:)
Have a awesome time with this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal!, May 4, 2010

This review is from: Young Blood (Kindle Edition)
Between Young Blood and Exiled (another of Eve McFadden's offerings in this series), it's difficult to decide which I enjoyed more. To say that these books are fast-paced thrillers is an understatement; each plants its hook on page one, and each drives the reader - relentlessly - to its wholly satisfying conclusion, though with ample surprises along the way. The plot of Young Blood is perhaps more compact than that of the prequel, but both were equally enjoyable, and nary a word is wasted in either work. That the price of these books has been reduced is mystifying, as both were worth every penny of the original asking price. But hey, that's a double bonus for folks who have yet to read one of McFadden's works. Both of the current titles in this series come highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cannot Wait for More of Her Work!, March 25, 2010
This review is from: Young Blood (Kindle Edition)
I have had the pleasure of reading this amazing story. I have read many authors of paranormal romance, and Eve McFadden is as good, or better, than the ladies that pioneered ths genre! I have bought both of her books, have read other short stories of her, and must say that I do not even partake in the first page without making sure that I have a few hours to devote to her wonderfully creative worlds. I am a vorascious reader of many different genres, and authors, and there are few who compare to Eve. Thank you for sharing you bountiful imagination to those of us that to not have this talent. Does this married, overworked nurse's heart good :-)!

Review of
Eve McFadden's Young Blood
By DCLierman

Just recently learning of the world of Were and Vampires stories, in the last 2 years
I find Eve McFadden's writing most fascinating; she paints the most exciting word pictures, reading her story is like watching a movie in your head.

I found it very exciting how she intertwined the two different species of the Vamp prince, seeking help from the weres. How the impetuous Jura gets in the muck of things with Sean Carson, and the tale escalates....a great read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sequel!, January 13, 2010
This review is from: Young Blood (Kindle Edition)
This story focuses around the weretiger Jura Griet, the younger sister of Angela Griet from "Exiled." Jura is an awesome heroine because she never backs down from a fight and she's fiercely loyal to the ones she loves, in this case that's the vampire Sean. Yes, weres and vampires in one story! The story is packed with interesting characters, witty dialogue, sweet romance and non-stop action. You better clear your schedule because you'll be reading it from start to finish in one sitting. It's a great read and I can't wait for the third book in the series.
