Book Description

October 23, 2007
Morris studies geology, culture, and various creation theories to give a true picture of Earth history. Explodes popular misconceptions about the age of the earth by exposing the shaky reasoning behind radiometric dating; Morris's discussion of these fallacies alone is worth the price of the book. Helps readers understand that fossils are dated to vast ages by calculating that the soil they are found in is millions of years old - a startling "trade secret" among evolutionists.

5.0 out of 5 stars Purposefully Mislead?, December 27, 2007

Where has God ever said that the earth is old, so how has He mislead anybody? All God did was create the heavens and the earth and everything in it and inspire the writing of the bible. Fallible, finite, sinful man is the one that has decided the earth looks old, not God.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely phenomenal book, June 1, 2011
This review is from: The Young Earth: The Real History of the Earth - Past, Present, and Future (Hardcover)
This is a GREAT book. I read this book twice (and it is extremely rare for me to re-read books - excepting the Bible). However, this is the revised and expanded version. My first read was the old version. Anyone who wants a rather short presentation that is not excessively technical (although there is some of that) regarding the age of the earth from a scientific perspective, then this is the book for you. It's mainly written from a geological viewpoint since Dr. Morris has a PhD in geology, but it's not hard to read.
