The prior review is correct. Get the original version (this version). Not the re-mix version. I ended up buying the re-mix version, then after listening to the entire song, going back and purchasing the original version from the Writers Block Album.

This song is great.

This version comes from a DJ mix, and has about 20 seconds of another song's intro at the end. Unless you're listening to that entire mix, this is genuinely annoying.

This song has a warm, hypnotic beat, compressed highs. The muted bass sound has just the correct amount of 'squeeze' to let the bass notes pop w/ grit then decay gently. The vocals use of effects would seem too much on any other song, but these guys made it work to an art Form,
but just when you believe this music is going to abandon you because of an angelic softening from the voice and instruments; ethereal pads whisper promise and deliver as we're brought back to the songs beginning. We're taken on a journey of beauty, harmony, rhythm and thunder (bass) and carried to a safe place where our bodies and mind know each other, connect, become one and achieve complete harmony, a beautiful symbiosis. My 11 year old son LOVES this song! If he read how I felt, he'd roll his eyes and BEG me not to tell his friends I felt this way about the song!

I heard this song for the first time four years ago on the International Music Feed Channel and was unable to tag it using Shazam. I was sitting in Perkins waiting for my meal when I heard that familiar whistling tune. I was Not only able to tag it using Shazam, but it gave me the option to buy it using Amazon MP3 instantly. Love that feature, use it all the time now.

Being a fan of the 80s, I hardly ever listen to newer music. But occasionally I do come across fresh tracks that grab my attention. I actually first heard this song while eating at a restaurant. While not knowing the song title or artist at the time, I searched for whistling tunes and found this one on Rolling Stones' best whistling hits article. Great song!

I love this song. There's something original about it and catchy. I mean...who DOES care about the old folks? Down with oldie! Let's let the folly of youth raise us and destroy our economies and social institutions so that we have to hunt each other for food and have dance-offs in dark slime-filled alleys!

I like this album, yet after listening to it for a couple weeks I got kind of bored of it. Still I think there are some really cool songs you can make remixes with from this cd, for when your dj for a night.
