Not his best work, March 23, 2006
This review is from: The Young Girl: The Theme of a Photographer (Hardcover)
It always amazes me how much this particular book of Hamilton photos goes for. When I finally got a copy I was not that impressed, compared to some of his other early works. Along with the usual pictures of young girls there are a lot of landscapes, which aren't bad but there are numerous other photographers who do a better job of landscape pictures. He has done rarer books in Japan which do command serious money and are worth it to the collector looking for pictures of a very particular nature.

I have never been so moved by an artist in my life! David has captured purity, in these Angelic forms of innocence.
If only we could preserve, what David has so passionately embodied in the pages of all of his books.
I await the next release
