A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Young Investor's Guide to Retiring Young (Paperback)
Are you surprised a kid like me is writing a review on such a esteemed topic such as investing, and the many different topics that go along with it? This is because his book, from start to finish, is an epic work that anybody can relate to no matter their age. I'm only 14 yet I can already see the many opportunities available to me to make money, although I am just a kid.

Solid Advice,
By Mister Z (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Young Investor's Guide to Retiring Young (Paperback)
A good primer for investing using reasonable examples from everyday life. From simple material like the power of compound interest and why Monte picked certain stocks based on his experience, to descriptions of the financial system, the book works. He uses charts and numbers to back up all of his data. Good advice so you won't have to care if/when Social Security fails.

This review is from: The Young Investor's Guide to Retiring Young (Paperback)
When I met the author and perused his book at a recent event I was amazed by his wisdom at such a young age (I won't tell you how old he is!) The book is an easy read and compelling enough to not put it down until you have read it cove to cover! The section where the author provides exeperts' views is especially useful. A great read and a great job!

great read,
This review is from: The Young Investor's Guide to Retiring Young (Paperback)
This book is a great read for anyone trying to start building an investment portfolio or refine their existing investment skills. The author gives a great overview (yet still somehow manages not to elide over the subtle yet important details) of investment topics and strategies, providing the reader with a firm grasp of how they need to approach future money management. I strongly recommend this book to everyone of all ages!
