I have just recently discovered K.K.Beck, and I love her style. Young Mrs. Cavendish takes place in the past, and is written in a style similar to the daring adventures of long ago. This book is easy to get into, keeps you interested until the very end. I love the plot- it has many unexpected twists. It's a great read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Light & entertaining read, January 3, 2009

Very enjoyable book. Light and entertaining with frequent unexpected plot twists. The author writes interesting and compelling characters; I found myself caring about them almost in spite of myself. And an interesting and unusual setting; not too many murder mysteries set with a backdrop of World War I!
