Great child's Bible,

I purchased this Bible for my youngest son and my two older kids have the same. This is the Bible that I was given in the early '80's when I was a child and I wanted the same for all of my children. I could not find it locally anywhere. Thankfully, Amazon had a couple of choices. The intro by Charles C. Ryrie is perfect for young children and even though it had been years since I read it, I still remembered a great deal of it when I read it again. This Bible has a few classic illustrations and red lettering for the words of Christ. It also has a short dictionary, Concordance and explanation of all the books. This printing still contains the dedication written to King James by the translators. As best I can tell the outer zippered cover is not real leather.

In 1987 my Mother got me this Bible when I was 10 years old. I still have it! it's in my hand right now. After 21 years of use the binding is still perfect, the zipper still works and the pages are still white and clean. The pictures are great and remind me of my childhood. Plus its the good old KJV Bible everyone should own. I didnt know they still made them. I am going to buy one for my little girl.
