Ravikiran pleases on this disc with several pieces, including the introductory one in Hamsadhwani.. the mridangam and ghatam accompaniments are well in tune with the main artists desires, and this is perhaps an example of ravikiran's talents in his 'younger' days, but of course, that term is completely relative when used to describe an individual who was able to identify all 72 melakarta ragas at the very, very tender age of two
