Love this item. Works really great. Youngblood brushes are really good, especially because they don't shed easily, don't deform and lasts a really long time.

I don't like to spend a lot of money on cosmetics or the accessories to go with them, but I did end up purchasing two of the Youngblood brushes at different times when buying Youngblood Loose Mineral Foundation, which is another product I believe is worth the price.

I bought the Super Powder brush with my first order of Youngblood makeup. The Super Powder brush is just that -- works great for applying a very light amount of powder. At first, I had bought it thinking I might use it for applying my foundation powder, since the problem I've often had with other makeup (usually other brands of pressed powders) is it going on too heavy, not blending well. Well, the Super Powder brush applies too fine for foundation purposes, but it's perfect for powder, both for a light powder layer under the foundation (to help with oil), and a layer on top of the foundation.

I was very hesitant to spend the money on the Ultimate Foundation brush. I mean, it's a brush, right? Should it be that expensive? Well, whether you're painting your face or painting your house, I've found that a good quality brush makes a difference. I'm sure there are other good brushes out there, but I'm glad I bought the Ultimate Foundation brush -- it works so well! It gives me the excellent coverage with my foundation that I need (I have rosacea), and I use it more than any other make-up brush. One caveat -- I'd recommend this brush for someone used to wearing and applying mineral foundation and who's willing to practice a bit with a new brush, because if you're not careful, you can end up with spots and patches of foundation where the application can be heavy. A great brush if you're looking for more coverage with your foundation!

I purchased these brushes over 4 years ago, and they are both still in great shape and work wonderfully. This is one of those times where the product is definitely worth the price.
