5.0 out of 5 stars "Now I Get It"
This is a daily journal that will help you track your progress with eating, exercising and life-style, such as social activity, etc. It is easy to use and an indispensable companion to a great book "Younger Next Year" which also comes in a special edition for women. Highly recommend using the journal faithfully, because it will show you why your program is working - or...

2.0 out of 5 stars TOO SMALL
I like the basic idea of the book and do use it, but the journal entry tables are WAY TOO SMALL!! There is not enough room to enter a basic weights regimen, too little space for diet info and WAY too little space in the ideas section.

5.0 out of 5 stars KEEPS ME ON TRACK!, June 1, 2007
This review is from: Younger Next Year Journal: Turn Back Your Biological Clock (Paperback)
I am 59 years old and have just started Pilates. I also walk about 3 miles a week. I am glad to have a way of keeping daily track of what I am accomplishing by exercising and eating right. We are our choices --- and this book will remind you to make the right ones and to keep the promises you make to yourself. Pamela D. Blair, Author The Next Fifty Years: A Guide for Women at Mid-Life And Beyond

5.0 out of 5 stars Year Two, May 7, 2011

This is my second purchase of the YNY Journal. I've completed one year and needed another to continue. It will keep you on track and motivated to do 2 days per week of weight training and 4 days per week cardio. Also help you keep track of what you eat and what you should not. Every so often it reminds you to set a goal to go beyond your comfort zone, and this can be a major assist to one's training. If you use the Journal daily and stick to its recommendations you will most certainly be "Younger Next Year".

Enjoyed the easy to read information to shake me out of my lethargy. Love the premise-- but I will be happy if I just slow down the aging a bit.

After reading the book, I really like the format of the journal to keep me focused. Wish I could have Harry for my gerentologist.

Thanks, Chris and Harry!

5.0 out of 5 stars Written log, April 14, 2011

Works great for a written log. Not as robust as some computer programs, but very motivational to hand write your logs and feel good about what you are doing. I used it faithfully for a year and switched to other formats and GPS sites. Get the book too- these guys are great motivators!

I am on my third copy of the journal, which means I have been using this for almost three years. The journal allows you to record what you ate that day, thus keeping track of the good or junk food consumed. It also lets you keep track of your exercise program and what you did. By using the journal daily, it "forces" to you pay attention to your eating and exercise habits. I've lost 12 pounds and keep track of my exercise program and any improvements.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works for this 75 year old!, January 19, 2012

One of the authors is my age. The problem with most books of this sort is that they are written with younger people in mind. Filling in the pages is a good way to keep motivated.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love it but disappointed, December 29, 2011

I love this journal & have used 3 of them. They cover a whole year. Very disappointed when was unable to obtain a few months ago but recently did get a copy. However, it is no longer spiral bound which makes it difficult to write in since the pages do not go flat. The writing space has been narrowed also. Hope the publisher goes back to the original format.
