Ok, but there are better options,

I work on board tug boats in the harbor of NY/NJ and wanted a waterproof cold weather glove to handle wet lines during the winter, or to wear in a cold rain where every other garment of mine is warm and waterproof.
This is a decent glove if you dont plan on actually getting it wet. (putting it under a faucet isn't really a good test). In actual use, I've found that the gloves are more water "resistant", not waterproof. They start out fine, but after 10 minutes of handling wet lines, the inside starts to get wet and cold real fast. I still wear them, but shelf them for PVC lobsterman gloves when I know they're really going to get wet. On the flip side, if you're only going to get them wet occasionally, or accidentally, these will be fine. (chances are though, such people won't be shopping for a glove labeled "waterPROOF"). There could also be more insulation... in the future, I dont think I'll consider a glove with a thin fleece lining to be a "winter" glove. On the good side, the dexterity is good, enough to operate a handheld VHF radio, (dont expect to send text messages with them) and after 3 months of constant abuse, they've held up great. 3 stars though for not living up to a major selling point.

Not warm enough!,

i bought these gloves because the reviews and the ad said they were warm, waterproof, and rugged. they are actually pretty tough and dont seem to wear out quickly. and they are close fitting enough you can grab things with them, and they even look pretty cool! but my complaint is that they are not warm enough! in 40f degree weather, riding my bicycle, my hands freeze! my hands would be better off in fists stuffed in my pockets without gloves! and they are not really waterproof, but more like water resistant. i expected more from these gloves and i was let down. if you are not in really cold weather and not in an area that it rains often, then these gloves will do you fine. but if you actually need WARM and WATERPROOF gloves, i recommend something else.

I love these gloves. They are very well made and fit great and are comfortable to wear. I work on the flightline at the 177th Fighter Wing in NJ and on the coldest days my hands stay warm and dry. I also have a pair of their non winter weight gloves which are also fantastic.

I am pleased with these gloves. I was looking for something to snowblow with. Something that would keep my hands warm and dry. While they are warm, I was hoping for alittle bit warmer. Work well as long as it's not freezing out. They definetly are waterphoof. My hands never felt wet. The fit is nice. They are not bulkie which help in moving your fingers during the running of the machine. I would recomend.

I bought these to use while riding my motorcycle because the description said 100% windproof. Well this morning I had to ride my bike for about 40 miles in 32 degree (Fahrenheit) weather and my fingers absolutely froze! I even tried putting a leather shell glove over top of them and that cut down on the wind but my fingers were still very cold. I had to stop 4 times to take off the gloves and warm up my fingers. I will agree they feel very good and are quite comfortable but I definitely cannot recommend these for motorcycle riding in cold weather.

My only two complaints are that they do not provide as much dexterity as my nomex gloves and they are not made in the US (minus 1 star - made in China.)
The goods - I put them under my faucet for a minute and applied cold water, the result being I could feel the water building up in the outer skin, but the inside remained dry. These gloves are good for rough work where small component articulation is not required, and should serve well to protect me against freezing wind / rain (cycling.) I purchased the XL which fit my hand, 8 1/2 inches from my wrist (crease) to the top of my middle finger.

Reasonably warm but not waterproof,

These gloves served me well working in some light snow and handling some damp materials for about 30 minutes, but working in heavy rain these gloves soaked through quickly (no water came in via the wrist opening). I'll keep these around for mild conditions but will find other gloves for wet weather.

I bought these gloves for my husband as a Christmas present as he works outside on our farm in all kinds of weather. He loves them! He tells me they are so warm and keep his hands dry. No complaints at all.

These gloves live up to their claim of water resistance. They are also tough enough to deal with tree trimming and chain saw work. However I did notice that my hands still got cold in short order when the ambient temperature was below freezing. Overall a good product but not meant for work in a very cold environment.
