Created in a unique triple layer design featuring a soft and insulating microfleece liner, a waterproof / windproof inner membrane and a durable, form-fit outer shell. The terry cloth thumb is great for wiping sweat and debris or even your nose. The palm side is extensively reinforced with non-slip reinforcement to enhance grip while providing lasting durability. The supportive neoprene cuff with velcro closure locks out the cold and snow. This highly functional winter glove is ideal for any number of winter activities - from heavy duty work like chopping wood or recreational activities like ice fishing - this glove will cover your needs. We do not temperature rate these gloves and they are designed to maintain excellent dexterity while also providing warmth. I have looked long and hard for a warm, waterproof, and tough winter glove. I could not be more pleased with these!!!! I'm a crew chief in the Air Force in Pittsburgh which means I work outside all the time. These gloves give me enough dexterity to do a lot of tasks that others cannot do with normal winter gloves.

Also, I work in Pyrotechnics and I do several winter shows a year. These gloves are tough enough that they have survived 3 shows. A normal pair of work gloves you'd buy at sears would normally last that long before they are worn through. I still use these gloves every day at my full time job at the base. 6 other people i work with have purchased them already.

Highly recommended.

...I'd also like to add that during a fireworks show i ran a nail through the outside shell of one of the fingers and they are STILL waterproof.

Great gloves, keep my hands warm even when very wet. The inside is very comfortable and fleece lined. I only have one complaint and that is that the Velcro to tighten the glove at the wrist isn't very effective and curls under the edge of the glove towards my wrist and that is a little annoying.

I purchased the gloves for running in the cold, and so far I have used them for any kind of work that I need protection or extra grip. The gloves are a little snug for being XL. Overall, I would buy another pair if needed.
