5.0 out of 5 stars It works!, January 6, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Your Baby Can Read! 5-Video Set for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers [VHS] (VHS Tape)
My first son started watching the first video daily at 3 months old. He read his first words at 16 months. At 24 months he was able to read over 300 words. Now, at 4 years old, his reading level is about 3rd grade. Son #2 is almost one and watches the tapes with the same intensity as his brother. Buy these tapes. you won't be sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 16 month old reads words!, October 13, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Your Baby Can Read! 5-Video Set for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers [VHS] (VHS Tape)
My son has watched these every day since 3 months of age. I thought he was just being entertained until one day he pulled a book off of his shelf and read two words in the title pointing to each as he said them. I finally tested him at 16 months on flash cards from the first video and he was reading many of the words. These videos really worked for us. Everyone is astounded when they see my son reading words at his age. I told other parents. Since their children were older it took a few showings of the first tape before the chidren were interested but after that they loved them. Buy them and try it. What better gift can you give your child? At worse you'll 5 vidoes to entertain your child.

5.0 out of 5 stars Your Baby Can Read Intriguing for babies...!, February 28, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Your Baby Can Read! 5-Video Set for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers [VHS] (VHS Tape)
My son has been watching this since he was 3 months old. We went to the SF Library to hear Dr. Titzer's comments. I bought a set for my son and my deaf sister's son (he is hearing). I believe this is assisting my nephews speech because he is picking up words which he otherwise would be delayed because his parents can't speak. My son loves these videos and doesn't like to watch anything else. The babysitter knows the quick fix is to plug in the video to soothe him... amazing! He enjoys it, as well, learns from it. I was skeptical when I heard "hippopotamus" AMAZING!
