My son loved this from 6 months on,

I don't know if it's actually teaching him to read, especially since we've currently only got this "starter" video, but my son loved to look at text from very early on, and this video fascinated him. He also loves watching the babies and kids in it.He definitely imitates the actions (clap; arms up!), and a few times, I swear it was just from seeing the word on the screen, not the verbal instructions. I'm glad I found the rest of the set on Amazon, because I'm about to order them all for him, now that he's 1!

Changed my life,
This review is from: Your Baby Can Read - Starter Video [VHS] (VHS Tape)
These videos (we have the whole set) and Dr. Doman's book "Teach your baby to read" have changed my life. We started when our son was about 12 months and by 14 months he was reconginzing words, 18 months reading words we hadn't shown him yet, and fully reading by 27 months. He is now 3 and 1/2 and loves, loves, loves to read. The other day I "caught" him taking care of the new Aerogarden (I had told him not to touch it without me). He was reading the instruction manual and correctly filling it up with the proper amount of water. He amazes me everyday with his reading and more importantly, his love of learning. We have a new baby and I will be doing the whole thing again with her.

I bought the 5 vol. set of DVD's for my daughter at 3 months. We watched 1 to 2 times a day. At 15 months she reads most words, even words not on the DVD. At 21 months her speech is clear and she reads everything. Babies exposed to written language learn to read as easily as they learn to talk.Thankful to have found
Dr. Titzer's gift to babies. Buy it now. .
