Back in 1978 as I was up for a 2 AM feeding with my son, I was watching the Phil Donahue Show & he had the authors of this book on his show. 3 years later when we decided to have another child, I bought the book. We would be blessed by whatever God gave us, but thought we would have fun trying to see if this worked. GOD and the book were right on...we have our "Queen Victoria" who is now 27!! :o)
I am now sharing my book with my son & daughter's friends who want to try it out. We'll see what happens!!?? Of course it doesn't really matter as long as the baby is healthy, but fun to try it out for the heck of it to see what happens and "maybe" increase your odds!!

From time to time the conversation comes up about having babies; and trying for a boy, or trying this time for a girl...and I guess I am just amazed that the knowledge of being able to CHOOSE your own gender is not (more) well known, in particular as books on the subject are in every book store right along with all the other prenatal books.
When I was growing up, back in the late 60's - early 70's, my sisters and I read this book that took probably 40 minutes to read from cover to cover. It was a REPRINT from the 1950's! I have one sister who used it on several of her children and got 100% using that book; I used it with my son and got my son; and EVERY person I loaned the book to got 100%. It hasn't failed yet. The latest version of the book is in reprint here, and although they are saying that most people who use this method receive an 85% success rate, I think that it is being conservative and is based on human error (not following the instructions perfectly). One thing I think that the book didn't seem to stress, as I recall, is that IF a man is ABLE to produce a child to begin with, then he can ALWAYS produce a girl, but not necessarily a male. Therefore, if he already knows he can father children, he may want to be tested to see if he can produce a boy. I don't have my original copy anymore. I loaned my last copy to an arrogant Henry the Vlll -type who said his next child HAD to be a boy or he was divorcing his wife. He said that he would spend whatever amount of money it took to get him a son! I gave him my book and told him to get tested FIRST to see if he produced males; then read the book, follow it, and he will succeed. He did, they did, and they had their boy. (They divorced a year later anyway. No surprise..) So, if you would like your friends and family members to be EMPOWERED WITH INFORMATION rather than have people walking around blindly thinking things are just `chance' and everything's just a crapshoot you can share this book with them and let them know here's yet another thing that is about CHOICE.

I USED THIS BOOK 28 YEARS AGO BECAUSE I WAS DESPERATE THE HAVE A GIRL. MY FAMILY LAUGHED AND SAID IT WOULD NOT HAPPEN. THE LITTLE GIRL THAT COULD NOT HAPPEN IS NOW 28 YEARS OLD! IT REALLY WORKS!
