This calendar provides you with a daily "pick-me-up" that gets to the heart of life. You should not be surprised when you read the "thought for the day" just how close it hits home and how it hits the mark for helping you through your day.

Joel Osteen's Daily Calendar is excellent; I wouldn't want to go through a year without it. Each day has an encouraging, uplifting message, which sometimes includes a little gentle guidance. The messages keep me positive, hopeful, and focused on the future instead of the past.

Joel's messages are about being positive; thinking the highest for ourselves; being responsible for our own well-being; improving our lives. I look forward to seeing positive daily messages on the calendars each morning - and the messages stay with me. Only criticism is that the first several days were not really that positive - not like the other several hundred messages that truly reach my heart and head.

I purchased this book from Walmart. I used to get Joel Osteen on the tv but Bresnan Comm. canceled it and I sure don't like that. But this book is the best and I highly recommend for anyone to read it. He is the new Norman Vincent Peale who I liked as well. I would recommend it. I really really like the book. If I could give it more stars, I would.

This started out as a birthday present from my team at work. Mr. Osteen has just visited Charlotte, NC and I had the opportunity to work as an usher there and I just had one of the best praise and worship times ever. So I was just going on and on about the visist and thats what I got for my birthday and christmas present. But it turned out it was just for more than myself. All of my co-workers would make a b-line to my desk to see what the word woud be for the day. I mean everybody liked it. I work at Social Services so I got to share the word with a lot of people. I just love this calendar. Someone at my job stole mine so I've ordered me another one. Keep up the good word.

Given as a gift, the person loved it.

I received the product I expected in a timely manner. One corner was slightly bent, but I was completely satisfied.

It is sad that the number one christian book in america doesn't mention suffering for the gospel... or the ressurection of Christ.
