This book is a funny and captivating read from front to back! I've been a fan of the Totally Tyler blog and this book definitely doesn't disappoint! I always compare this to a gay "Sex in the City" but with a whole lot more wit. This book is a must read if you are in need of a laugh or want to make sure your not the only one who has had dating stories gone awry! This book will make you 'LOL' from page to page and also thinking more seriously about underlying life lessons we learn from being adults and attempting this crazy world of dating.

I loved this book from start to finish. Living in Atlanta, I know so many of the place that he speaks on. I can't say I have been through every situation he has, but I can relate on so many different levels. I had so many "ah ha" moments reading this. The book is an easy read and it keeps you interested the entire time. I can not wait for the follow up. Great job Tyler!

Tyler has an amazing way with words. Whether relaying an emotional story or a laugh-inducing one (or quite often both), he knows how to draw readers in and leave them wanting more! I can't wait to read more installments in the series!!

This was an amazing book! Tyler blends a variety of tales together, from fun and crazy dates, to his history as a young boy, he keeps you entertained and deeply connected to his life stories. This book was much more than I thought as well. It did not only provide humorous tales, but it had a very profound and special intellectual side to is at well, as Tyler goes through the good, the bad, and the ugly with relationships and all other things that life seems to throw at him. I found it very easy to connect with his thoughts and feelings through the book, he does an amazing job at pulling you into the stories, making it feel as if I were in the bar, or getting morning brunch right along side him. Beautifully crafted and always entertaining, this book will be hard to put down! I highly recommend this book- you will NOT be disappointed.

And to Tyler,

I look forward to reading the rest of your books! Best of luck my friend,

K.L.

From the first "Tail" to the last of his first collection of stories, Totally Tyler takes you on a ride that is indeed "sometimes humorous, sometimes heartbreaking," but most importantly, is entirely personal. Although I wish the stories were more linear, there are some very nice anecdotes here and there that causes you to reflect, along with Tyler, about our perspectives and approaches to living one's life. From relating his gut instincts to a Dior sweater to asking Lola to leave the lights on, the "tails" are the up-and-down journeys we've all taken when it comes to dating. Except, Totally Tyler does it in style with endless brunches, adventures in online dating, and why some birthdays are just unforgettable.

Now excuse me as I try to find the exit to my Haunted House of Love.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but after getting this book recommended to me by a friend and not being able to put it down while reading it, I felt that this new author deserved some recognition. This book is the comically tells the stories of the authors life growing up as a little homo in Indiana, and spreads his wings in Atlanta, and fulfills his dream of moving to The Big Apple. The stories of the guys he's dated rivals those of Chelsea Handler and the way he discusses his up & downs are comparable to the style of Augusten Burroughs (one of my fav authors). This book is a total must read. There a funny chapters that you'll find yourself re-reading, and you'll def wanna pass the book along to a friend (the way my friend did for me).

This volume is fabulous read that will have you rolling on the floor in laughter one minute and pondering, chin in hand, the next. Huge congratulations (and perhaps a lemon-drop martini or three) are in order for Tyler! It's refreshing to see that we're not alone, that we're not the first to feel this way when it comes to dating, growing up, building our lives, and finding who we are - and we won't be the last.

Really looking forward to the next volume of tales of tail from Totally Tyler!

This book is great. Tyler is a very talented writer and I am looking forward to many more to follow. He has relayed his emotions very effectively and though there is much humor, he has revealed many insecurities and feelings that a lot of us try to ignore or deny exist within us all. He is one heck of a story teller and that makes for a fantastic and successful writer. Don't stop now Tyler!!!
