I attribute it to his sense of humor which clearly comes across in his writing.

I think everyone can enjoy and relate to most of the dating scenarios Tyler talks about.

This book is a funny and captivating read from front to back! I've been a fan of the Totally Tyler blog and this book definitely doesn't disappoint! I always compare this to a gay "Sex in the City" but with a whole lot more wit. This book is a must read if you are in need of a laugh or want to make sure your not the only one who has had dating stories gone awry! This book will make you 'LOL' from page to page and also thinking more seriously about underlying life lessons we learn from being adults and attempting this crazy world of dating.

Tyler has an amazing way with words. Whether relaying an emotional story or a laugh-inducing one (or quite often both), he knows how to draw readers in and leave them wanting more! I can't wait to read more installments in the series!!

I loved this book from start to finish. Living in Atlanta, I know so many of the place that he speaks on. I can't say I have been through every situation he has, but I can relate on so many different levels. I had so many "ah ha" moments reading this. The book is an easy read and it keeps you interested the entire time. I can not wait for the follow up. Great job Tyler!

Totally Tyler's way of conveying a life lesson or experience in a way that connects to the reader is why I loved this book. As I was reading, it was like someone was narrating my own life experiences. Can't wait for the next book!

This was an amazing book! Tyler blends a variety of tales together, from fun and crazy dates, to his history as a young boy, he keeps you entertained and deeply connected to his life stories. This book was much more than I thought as well. It did not only provide humorous tales, but it had a very profound and special intellectual side to is at well, as Tyler goes through the good, the bad, and the ugly with relationships and all other things that life seems to throw at him. I found it very easy to connect with his thoughts and feelings through the book, he does an amazing job at pulling you into the stories, making it feel as if I were in the bar, or getting morning brunch right along side him. Beautifully crafted and always entertaining, this book will be hard to put down! I highly recommend this book- you will NOT be disappointed.

And to Tyler,

I look forward to reading the rest of your books! Best of luck my friend,

K.L.

have been reading tyler's blogs since... 2006 or so, i believe, and was very excited to see him come out with a book... can't wait for the next. love the flow of the "tails" - how he can divert your attention from the subject for a short amount of time with a side story and then take you right back in, somehow tying everything together. any adult should be able to relate to tyler, no matter the sex or sexuality of the individual.
this book had me both laughing and getting teary eyed, and brought back many memories of some of my old dating experiences.
*sigh* ... i have a crush on you, tyler. and i wish i was a gay male living in NY. i'd totally take you out : ).

i'm also really liking how people are publishing their blogs into books (given they have a talent for writing, like tyler). i can go months without reading a novel sometimes, but will forever be loyal to the blogs i follow on a nearly daily basis.

Tyler is a great storyteller. My only disappointment was at the end of the book - when I realized that it was the end! I found myself wanting it to go on. Check out more of his writing and blog at [...]. You won't be disappointed!

Even if you're not gay, you'll relate to this collection of bad date stories because, really, at the root of this funny anthology of blog posts is the universal story of a person looking for love. I chucked quite a bit at some of the bad dates and I appreciated that the author interjected stories about his family to make for a well-rounded read. All in all, a light, great read!
