Does not maintain contact, intermittent contact. After one week only one channel or the other would work at a time. Was able to get a better quality one for less than half the price at a major electronics store.

Will not fit many 1/4 plugs. Although the caliber is correct, the socket is too short and thus the stereo grooves in the plug will not make adequate contact. You will get mono sound if you are lucky.***** Update: After a couple of days, I could actually make the headphone plug fit into the adapter. The problem was not the adapter being too short, but too tight, so the plug would not slide all the way through. It gave in after a while and the product works fine in stereo. I increased the rating. Still not the smoothest product but it worked.
