I purchased two of these cables to act as extension cables to the remote button that can attach to Canon DSLR cameras. They connected without any issue and so far have been working flawlessly

Great quality, exactly as described and it works perfectly. Used two to extend the IR mini blaster cable from a Harmony Ultimate Hub so equipment on one side of a wall could be controlled along with a TV on the other. Now everything is routed through the wall as it should be.

I bought this cord as an extension for Canon Remote Switch RS60 E3. This works as it should and is pretty durable for not being a very heavy duty cable.

I had bought a wired shutter release button for my Canon Rebel XSi camera. I needed a longer length for a special project. This cable sealed the deal and has taken over 300 remote release photos wit absolutely no problems!

An ideal fit without having to purchase components individually and assembling on my own. Gives me the extra length needed.

I bought this to use with a 3.5mm stereo cable to extend a speaker mic on a ham portable. It works well, though I thought that a 6-foot extension wouldn't exhibit noticeable loss, and that isn't at all the case. Still, the loss (somewhere in the 1 to 1-1/2 dB range) is within acceptable limits, and with a couple of mm of molded male cable end removed with my always-handy Mototool, it fit into the recess on the portable radio as well. A pretty good piece for the price.

I use an IR remote extender so that I can hide my amp/Tivo/DVD player away from view. I have my plasma screen mounted on the wall - about 2m away from the devices. The IR extender only had a 1m cable supplied - with 3x IR 'eyes' connecting to the receiver with a 2.5mm mini-jack.
This product allowed me to extend the range of the IR lead so that the remote receiver can be mounted above the TV on the wall - using my existing conduit for the TV HDMI and power leads.

This is a solid, heavy gauge cable with good sheathing and connectors, but the male end is so short that it barely engages with the port on my phone. I have to make sure that the cable itself is secured an does not move around at all, otherwise it pulls right out of the phone. It's a shame that they skimped on this part.

Had some concern after reading some of the negative reviews but ordered the item in spite of the comments. Couldn't be more pleased with that decision. Works without error and is just the thing to allow me to get away from the camera on close-up shots and family shots that I want to be in too.

I bought this to extend my phone headphone/mic and all it gave me was a lot of static noise. Either the internal connections are bad or the wire is so cheap that it allows interference. Shipping it back costs more than the cable so lesson learned. Don't buy this piece of junk!
