Editorial Reviews

Review

I have attended Thomas Crum's workshops, read his materials and arranged to have him conduct sessions for parents, students, and educators. Having personallly experienced the results of his positive impact on all participants, I find Tom's Crum's Magic of Conflict approach continues to influence my work as an educational consultant while dealing with highly emotional issues. HIs workshops and The New Conflict Cookbook are essential for students of all ages and the activities are easy to implement in any classroom. -- Dr. James Leary, President, Macrovision Associates Author, Consultant former, Superintendent, Adrian Public Schools, MI --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

About the Author

Thomas Crum is the author of Journey to Center and The Magic of Conflict . He is the founder and president of Aiki Works, Inc. Mr. Crum has developed the Magic of Conflict approach, an in-depth technology to turn conflict into opportunity and one's life of work into a work of art. He has taught Aikido, a graceful martial art which uses harmony rather than force to resolve conflict, for over two decades. Mr. Crum includes principles and movements from Aikido, Tai Chi Chuan, and other mind-body arts in his presentations, creating an experiential approach to teaching conflict resolution and stress management, and leadership for the twenty-first century.

Judith Warner is director of the New York office of Aiki Works, Inc. She brings over two decades as a writer and educator to her work with Mr. Crum. Ms. Warner offers workshops in the Magic of conflict approach and collaborates with Mr. Crum in the creation of Aiki Works resource materials. She is also an instructor in the martial art of Aikido.
