I am a Member of the Kathy Griffin Cult. As a member I must tell you how FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY this Cd is! So this year when that "spoken word" catgory comes up, sorry Janet reno but kathy has this year in the Bag! Alot of this material if from early 2008 shows (For those that have never seen her life before, her shows are almost totally new material every few months)so chances are most of this material will not be heard again. So go on and get this cd, if you love Mrs K like the cult does you won't be sorry.

Recorded at her sold-out St. Louis show at the Fabulous Fox Theater in February, this CD is made specifically made for the notion to help win Kathy Griffin a Grammy. Since her Emmy acceptance speech got the Catholic League and other religious organizations up in arms, it seems this may be the only way for Kathy to get an award.

This show delivers, and being someone who was there in that theater that amazing night and had seen her 2 other times previously, I can say that this is some great, funny material that will sure help deliver Kathy her award on a limited edition Mickey Mouse tin tray! A must0have for any stand-up comedy fan!

Fans of Kathy Griffin will not be disappointed. She delivers a great performance with a little bit of something for everyone. Kathy's no-holds-barred comedy will have you laughing out loud whether you are listening in your living room, in your car, or over your ipod in a crowded subway car. If you are new to Kathy Griffin's comedy, note the explicit lyrics tag, this is not for young children. Overall, a great CD that is sure to please.

This is Kathy at her best. A witty, no holds barred monologue that feels like a pop culture chat over coffee with your favorite pal.

The energy is non-stop and you wish it could go on for an extra hour, like one of her shows.

In this CD, she takes on Oprah, Barbara Walters, The Osmonds, Steven Spielberg, and also shares hilarious anecdotes about her Mom and Steve Wozniak.

One Emmy under her belt, a Grammy surely coming her way...

This CD is one of the funniest things I've heard in a very long time. Kathy Griffin is able to make it sound like she's just talking to a few friends about stuff, all while standing in a giant theater and telling jokes. She's very talented, and very funny.

I love Kathy Griffin and am a part of her cult phenomenon. This cd showcases what she does best- trash celebrities and tell hilarious stories about those around her. On top of that the cd is a shameless ploy to get a grammy which I think they should give it to her just because of the brilliant idea. If you like celebrities and the bag of bull they bring then Kathy will make you laugh.

Hey alot of straights will enjoy this too. Who couldn't?! The message in this CD is for the masses! It should be played on loud speakers at churches, sunday schools, funerals and every public corner. I heard from a reliable source that the Dali Lhama and Sun Kim are both using this message as a first step in indoctrinating their followers.
I feel happy because I was able to listen to it for less that $15 and I didn't have join a cult or 3rd world country, or go to china.

Firstly, I am so excited to have tickets for her live show in November. I love Kathy's comedy. She is truly one of my top 5 people I would love to hang out with for a week or two. I feel a connection with her honesty, and sincerity about what she feels about certain events.
My love list;
Mom's, Dad's, Nana's, dogs, cats, humming birds, ducks, and all animals that walk, crawl, slither, or drag their butts around on this Earth.

She better win that Grammy ... this album is hysterical. Buy it, buy it, buy it!

Kathy Griffin uses her uncanny insight and sarcastic wit to deliver one terrific CD. Initially I purchased this to support her goal of securing a Grammy Nomination. After listening to the CD in it's entirety my only complaint is that this was not available on a DVD. As usual Kathy says what most of want to say but dare not. My only question is when will she put out another? I highly recommend this CD for serious Kathy Griffin fans.
