This book is full of practical suggestions for anyone starting to write the dissertation. Easy to read and is portable, in that you can take it anywhere to read at any time. It's a good tool for encouragement in the arsenal, as you prepare to write the big "D". I recommend it from the motivational standpoint. I would have liked more nuts and bolts advice on how to refine the topic for dissertation.
