When my girlfriend asked me to download this for her, my first thought was like "oh common, not a diet please, she is going to be grumpy for the next few weeks and then she'll be back to normal, all this diet stuff sucks" But she insisted, so I had a look and must say this sounds like a different concept, it seems to be a healthy longterm approach instead of a diet. I learnt a lot about the food we eat nowadays and how it affects our health, quite shocking.. now I am tempted to try out the principles in this book for myself too.

I have read a lot of useless junk "diet" books written by hacks looking for a fast buck by publishing what everyone already knows, as a look at my other reviews will show. This book is different. It's a gem and an absolute steal for just 99 cents. There is plenty of practical info that anyone can use (male or female) although this book is written for a female audience. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn a well rounded approach to improving their health. You won't mind trading a buck for the knowledge you'll gain. I already practice some of the info in the book so I can tell you it works. I'm adding this to my Listmania! list.

Another goofy book by a skinny person trying to help a fat person. It just doesn't work. Not only will I not get the dream body but I won't be able to keep it. cool cover, though.

My wife is starting a new project: Quest Health and Fitness (search it on Facebook). I was looking for something we could use as a supplement. While she and I teach martial arts, not all of her clients are local and I thought we might need something we can recommend. This program has a lot of great choices, good routines, and it covers everything I would want in a holistic approach to crafting a great body! The Quest Health and Fitness program has it's own strict diet for 21 Days, and after that, the recommendations in Kim's book look like they will be a solid addition.

Admittedly, I considered a four star review because much of her material was pretty straight forward and basic. As has happened to me before, I had to step back and consider this from the standpoint of someone NOT in the fitness industry. If I knew nothing, this book would be a fantastic start. It is short enough that it would not be a burden to a client, and comprehensive enough to answer all the common questions - and it has insights that the average person might not think of on their own. So I decided that my sort of 4.5 star review would tilt toward yet another five star review for Kim Alles.

Her material reasonably matches up with what I teach in The Secret Book 2 The Secret Book 2: Using the Law of Harmony for Wealth, Relationship, Body, Self and Life. Well, you can imagine the issue. I can hardly recommend a new client jump ahead to Book 2 without also reading Book 1, and asking someone to read two books to get the core information they need would be a bit much. So... one suggestion I'll be making: Kim Alles (at least until I can distill my own material to a book better suited...
