It's not an over-statement to say this could be their best album ever -- and if you know The Whispers, that's saying something as their catalog of albums is nothing but great stuff.

We've waited nearly a decade for this and I'm blown away. The guys still have it with outstanding lead and backing vocals. I really like the original music, particularly the first song, "Get It On" and the melancholy "Livin' It Up."

The group adds some talent in the songwriting dept. with the presence of Teena Marie and former Temptation Ollie Woodson, and of course Whisper Nicholas Caldwell writes some epic songs as well as produces with fellow bandmates Wallace and Walter Scott.

Of course the singing is off the charts and Wallace has never sounded better.

The group took a chance by starting their own label, doing their own production, and basically managing everything on this CD from A to Z.

It certainly was a risk that has paid off. I can't recommend this CD high enough, it's the best one I've bought in quite sometime. Thanks Whispers for coming back in style!

Now don't wait another decade for the next release -- please! Another CD next year will be just fine!

The Whispers are back with a vengeance!! This is one of the best albums of this decade, and one of the few where you don't have to skip over songs to hear the few good ones ... because every song is superb. The steppers will love "Let's Get it On" and "Love Won't Let Me Wait"; and husbands and wives can romance all night with "Love Stroking", "Don't Say No" and "Hold On". "BUTTA" is just off the hook!! The gospel song " I Sing This Song for You" makes me jump up and shout!! It's about time we had some "real" music to mentor the young folks. The most interesting thing about this CD is that the Whispers still sound the same as they did twenty years ago. The songwriter combination of Teena Marie, Ali "Ollie" Woodson, and Nicholas Cladwell is pure perfection. If this doesn't win a grammy award, somebody is alseep at the wheel.

This CD has been long over due. The Whispers are one of the greatest male groups of all time. They have maintained their style and sound. The CD has hit after hit. There is not one bad song; I listen to the CD in its entirety over and over and I still can pick an absolute favorite song: I love them all.
