It's not an over-statement to say this could be their best album ever -- and if you know The Whispers, that's saying something as their catalog of albums is nothing but great stuff.

We've waited nearly a decade for this and I'm blown away. The guys still have it with outstanding lead and backing vocals. I really like the original music, particularly the first song, "Get It On" and the melancholy "Livin' It Up."

The group adds some talent in the songwriting dept. with the presence of Teena Marie and former Temptation Ollie Woodson, and of course Whisper Nicholas Caldwell writes some epic songs as well as produces with fellow bandmates Wallace and Walter Scott.

Of course the singing is off the charts and Wallace has never sounded better.

The group took a chance by starting their own label, doing their own production, and basically managing everything on this CD from A to Z.

It certainly was a risk that has paid off. I can't recommend this CD high enough, it's the best one I've bought in quite sometime. Thanks Whispers for coming back in style!

Now don't wait another decade for the next release -- please! Another CD next year will be just fine!

The Whispers are back with a vengeance!! This is one of the best albums of this decade, and one of the few where you don't have to skip over songs to hear the few good ones ... because every song is superb. The steppers will love "Let's Get it On" and "Love Won't Let Me Wait"; and husbands and wives can romance all night with "Love Stroking", "Don't Say No" and "Hold On". "BUTTA" is just off the hook!! The gospel song " I Sing This Song for You" makes me jump up and shout!! It's about time we had some "real" music to mentor the young folks. The most interesting thing about this CD is that the Whispers still sound the same as they did twenty years ago. The songwriter combination of Teena Marie, Ali "Ollie" Woodson, and Nicholas Cladwell is pure perfection. If this doesn't win a grammy award, somebody is alseep at the wheel.

This CD has been long over due. The Whispers are one of the greatest male groups of all time. They have maintained their style and sound. The CD has hit after hit. There is not one bad song; I listen to the CD in its entirety over and over and I still can pick an absolute favorite song: I love them all.

I absolutely love this cd and I am a long time Whispers fan from way back when. They outdid theirselves and it should be number one. I love this cd so much I refused to make anyone copies telling them to buy their own so the Whispers can continue to make great music. Every song is good but my favorite is the title track and I can't play it enough. Definitely recommended.

WOW !!!,This album is a must to have,however I am tired of people saying that this is the Whispers best album ever, all of their albums are great if you are a Fan !!, "Diamonds" is my favorite cut on this album, I have every album the Whispers ever made, I am their number ONE Fan !!!!. Music of today can not compare at all to the tunes of the 1970's....., Hey folks try "The Jones Girls" next..

The Whispers where great after nine years, they have not lost a step I could not Find this title no where in town in records stores or discount stores but on Amazon.com,thanks for given me a fantastic record to hear after being an Whispers Fan for years.

I agree with one of the responders. I heard this CD in the beauty shop and today's artists does not have anything on this group. It's a shame that they received only one Grammy for "And The Beat Goes On." Maybe they will receive lots of Grammys for their talents for the "old schooler" like myself. Definitely they should be singing at Grammys, Soul Train and all the other musical shows. This is fantastic.

What an amazing CD. I am an avid Whispers fan and have every album/cd they have ever made. This CD is a classic; unmistakable Whispers sound with songs that remind you of why you are a Whispers fan. If you haven't bought it, you need to because you won't be disappointed; and if you are, you aren't a REAL WHISPERS FAN!

Love the whispers and they have a lot of great songs. so much nicer to just order online
