Points to ponder through out the day, applicable to the needs in one's spiritual life are Scripturally based and are clearly and insightfully represented by Dr. Packer. I have read this book again and again for inspiration.

This is the best daily devotional I've used in over 50 years of morning devotions. Why it has gone out of print is beyond understanding, but perhaps this is more of a commentary on American Christianity today that it is the quality and spiritual depth of understanding imparted by J.I. Packer's career as one of the most prominent theologians of our time. If you can still find used copies of this great little gem, I highly encourage you to pick it up while you can. It holds a very special place on my kitchen table... and it will yours to be sure.
