I live in Southwest Florida on the Gulf Coast and love butterfly gardening. I have several books on the subject and Your Florida Guide to Butterfly Gardening: A Guide for the Deep South is very nice ~ one of my favorite all round gardening books as well as handy field guide for butterflies and the four stages of their lives. It is the perfect guide specifically written for Florida butterfly gardening. It's the book I grab most often for quick reference ~ the full-color photographs of the butterflies and plants are exceptional. The book is well organized, full of wonderful information and very useful suggestions for gardening in the different Florida climates. It's really a beautiful book and I highly recommend it for butterfly gardening in Florida.

Very informative. We found after following the instructions we had a wonderful looking garden that attracted may different types of butterflies. My only suggestions is that because the book is written for many different areas make sure your plant selection are for your area.
