Coffee-cup divining is fast becoming as popular as reading tea leaves, and it's easy to see why. At Sahar Huneidi's over-subscribed coffee-reading workshops, people gather in her favourite coffee house to chat, sip coffee and then peer into their cups! The coffee grounds cling to the inside of the cup to form amazing patterns and shapes that can be read to predict many aspects of your future - and it's uncannily accurate. The best coffee to use is Turkish or Greek because it sticks to the cup so well (and it's delicious), but you can also read the grounds from a cappuccino or espresso. Follow Sahar's instructions to make a perfect cup of coffee in the cup and saucer provided. Drink it slowly, savouring its rich flavours, and relax. Leaving the thick residue in the bottom, place the saucer over the cup, shake the cup gently and turn them both over together. Remove the saucer over a tissue to catch any drips, then turn the cup upright. Now you can gaze into your future! Sahar takes you through the principles of reading around the cup and identifying and interpreting the patterns. It's useful to jot down your thoughts as you go. With a little practice you will soon sharpen your intuitive skills, and be confident enough to delight your friends with your incredible psychic powers. Your coffee mornings will never be the same again!
Sahar Huneidi (Psychic Sahar, www.psychicsahar.com) is a professional intuitive who gives spiritual psychic readings, teaches creative meditation and conducts workshops on tarot, the ancient art of coffee-cup reading, psychic development and dream interpretation. She was a Spiritual DIY columnist for Prediction Magazine in the UK (the original body mind spirit magazine in the UK, established in 1936), Horoscope columnist for Sharq Magazine in the UK, and publisher of PS-Magazine.com- UK's first holistic Internet resource. Sahar also launched the first dedicated podcasting service on spiritual and psychic matters, and well-being; on psychicpodcasts.com; and Podcasts4life.com respectively with thousands of subscribers to her podcast (which reached top 50 downloads on iTunes in 2006, with over 80,000 subscribers). She lives and works in London.
Sahar has been named (twice) among the Best 100 Psychics in Psychic Yellow Pages by Hans Holzer, Citadel Press, NY. She is a direct descendant of a line of Sufis that dates back 800 years to Master Abdul-Kader Al-Jilani, author of The Secret of Secrets. Her late grandfather, Yacoub Al-Ghussein, also a spiritualist, is the last to uphold AI Tarika, or 'the way' of his Sufi lineage.
She was born in Cairo and educated in the US, England and France. Studied Civil Engineering and Business Administration, but her instincts are artistic. She writes poetry, much of which has been published in various poetry magazines. Experiencing the trauma of war during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, was a major turning point in her life. Such an unexpected trauma provoked many questions about destiny versus free will, changed her out look on life and her beliefs; and forged her interest in spiritual development.
She is passionate about the tradition of reading Turkish Coffee Grounds, written a book on the subject, Your Future In A Coffee Cup: The Art Of Divining with Coffee Grounds which is the first to carry real photographs of coffee cups; and have conducted several workshops and talks at schools, associations, and holistic festivals & fairs in the UK. She has also taught Tarot Reading for Prediction Magazine, conducted a joint-workshop with Dr. Jude Currivan, entitled Heal The Whole; and devised a series of Creative Meditation and Psychic Development training classes for a small group of her existing clients.
