I give this book 5 stars because it is simple, basic and to the point and gives you encouragement. It lets you know that you don't have to go restrictive crazy to start healthy living and lose weight. That's very hard to find!

I will have to be honest - this book was written by my daughter-in-law. Now that you know that, also know that I would only have called her and told her that I enjoyed it rather than write this, if I did not really love it. It is well written, funny, and has gotten me excited about taking control of my life. Most of the information is not new to me but, until now, I have been very adept at moving that to the back of my mind ("I'll make better choices tomorrow", "I know it but this just tastes so good."). After reading Michelle's book, I WANT to make changes. This is a big difference for me - not having to, but wanting to. The information is easy to read and understand. Michelle presents healthy living in a way that makes it exciting, fun, and best of all, obtainable.

Thank you Michelle for bringing such a realistic approach to getting started on a healthy lifestyle. Today I was so frustrated knowing that I would not have time to go to the gym. So, I took your advice and got moving any way I knew how. I washed and detailed my own car! It took me an hour and a half! What a workout!!! The food list that you provide in the book are so helpful. Thank you for breaking down the pros and cons of all the diet fads out there. Most of all thank you for being REAL. It's nice to know your struggles are no different than ours! GREAT JOB!
