This is just the book that I need right now. I have been studying and practicing Reiki and Secheim for a month, Qigong for a year, and deep meditation for 5 years, where I get down to the delta state within 24 minutes. I have read 100's of good books and a lot of those airy-fairy feel good books that are vague and not practical. This book is practical, logical and truthful! I have not seen provided on the Internet or in books on Reiki , Secheim or Chi Gung, on the depth of procedures that a practitioner can use to channel the universal life force. I belong to 2 Reiki and Secheim circles, where advanced channelers are doing a lot of the techniques that Ric explains in this book, but I could not find in depth explanations of the procedures in any Reiki and Secheim books. Although traditional Reiki is simple, I see a lot of add-ons that the practitioners perform with the healee. Many of the add-ons are found in Ric's book. He explains 4 different methods of healing...sourcing from above, from the earth, from the heart, and from oneness. He explains in depth the colors in auras and what they mean. He explains in-depth aura balancing and the resistance that we all have to our physical, emotional, mental traumas. I welcome all questions, freepaul@pitt.edu

That book is amazing.There is alot of diferent energitic healing methods and a vast of books for the subject,but this the best I've ever read.A small book but contains everything for being a healer,simplest and most efficient methods I've ever seen.No need to take long courses;just read and practice this book.

This is an excellent introduction to healing.
It has a great mixture of background and instruction mixed with practical exercises. It gives options without being overwhelming.
It is practical and down to earth, emphasizing the universal spiritual aspects of healing practice without building or destroying anyone's ego.

I Love this book! I got got when it first came out in 1992 and have read tons of books since ( including the well-known ones) and none compare. Ric's approach is simplistic, easy to master and simply works! I still have my copy, but gosh, I wish he'd release it on Kindle. Best book, hands down ( no pun intended) for anyone interested in energy healing.
