There are lots of books out there on creative visualization, but Choquette, author of The Psychic Pathway (1995), offers something more. She helps readers figure out exactly what they want before they try to get what they think they want. She then goes on to show how creative manifestation is available to everyone who learns the process. The engaging, chatty writing style might make this manual seem less serious than some books on the topic of spiritual development, but readers who undertake the step-by-step program Choquette sets out will find material that is insightful, even inspiring. With so many New Age titles available, it can be difficult to sort out the best from the babble. Choquette is high on the list. Ilene Cooper

Sonia Choquette is a world-renowned author, storyteller, vibrational healer, and six-sensory spiritual teacher in international demand for her guidance, wisdom, and capacity to heal the soul. She's the author of several best-selling books, including Diary of a Psychic, Ask Your Guides, and Trust Your Vibes; and numerous audio programs and card decks. Sonia Choquette's book, YOUR HEART'S DESIRE, describes nine simple principles we can use successfully to find and follow our heart's true desires. While each idea may appear to be obvious, most of us could use a few reminders on how to: (1) Bring the dream into focus, (2) Gain support of the subconscious mind, (3) Imagine the heart's desire, (4) Eliminate obstacles, (5) Receive Intuitive Guidance, (6) Support the dream with love, (7) Surrender control, (8) Claim the dream, and (9) Stay true to the dream.

Choquette knows that we create reality, and are better off when we don't spend a lot of time and energy contemplating what we're worried or upset about. She advises that our dreams come true more beautifully when we travel lightly, take responsibility for our dreams, and stop being control freaks. Choquette's many years of teaching workshops on this subject are evident in the enjoyable stories and excercises she includes in each section. She also includes a special meditation at the end of each chapter, so readers may better absorb the ideas.

I highly recommend this book for anyone seeking advice from a master of living life true to one's heart -- every page is a joy to read!

I picked up Your Heart's Desire several years ago after reading the Psychic Pathway. The wisdom and principles, plus the inspiring stories kept me hooked---I finished it within a day. The real work started when I began playing with the 9 principles of creative manifestation.

All I have to say is, if you use these principles, you're going to get what you want. I manifested my ideal mate, my amazingly wonderful career, and any physical thing that I wanted that I knew would support me in my life.

Sonia points out that you must be very true to yourself in deciding what you want to create. If you're willing to do that, and you enjoy good story telling, you will probably enjoy this book. Have fun!!
