"Ron Nikkel charts a spiritual journey that engages the heart as well as the mind. Nothing could be more relevant to the current spiritual search than seeing life as a journey and along the way Ron unearths hidden treasures from classical writers and personal experiences, giving us a wonderful insight into his own struggles and joys. He does this with fresh insight into familiar biblical images which nourish both the emotions and the intellect. Your Journey with Jesus will involve the whole person, mind, heart, and soul." ~ Paul Cowley, Executive Director of Alpha for Prisons "I have been an avid reader of Ron Nikkel's weekly meditations, fifty of which are contained in this superb book. No one I know has lived a more Christ-centered life than Ron. He and I have been in the most rotten holes of prisons together, and in the most powerful of palaces. Ron sees life through God's eyes, and writes elegantly. This is wonderful reading. I highly recommend it." ~ Chuck Colson ((1931-2012) author, former chief counsel to President Nixon and Chairman of Prison Fellowship) "Ron Nikkel's reflections have long been treasured as jewels of spiritual inspiration for those of us who work under his leadership as President of Prison Fellowship International. His latest writings sparkle with an impassioned empathy that touches the soul at many levels. This book is an ideal companion for daily devotions or for deeper forays into the theology of experience." ~ Jonathan Aitken (Former Politician and well-respected biographer) I have known Ron Nikkel for thirty years, and I marvel at his faithful service. This collection pulls together some of his best insights, gleaned from a treasure trove of work and travel experiences as exotic and as meaningful as any I know. ~ Philip Yancey (author of What's So Amazing About Grace?
