Too little Content to warrant subscription, May 6, 2010
This review is from: Your Life Organized (Kindle Edition)
This blog seems to update about every 4-5 days. Often the post is only a quote. Last week the post was a video, so it was useless for the Kindle. Try reading the blog online to see if it appeals enough to you to subscribe. I didn't find it worth the money.

The second opinion!, March 15, 2010
This review is from: Your Life Organized (Kindle Edition)
I'm a pack rat! There, I said it (but not in front of my wife shhhh!) I like to keep things "just in case", or things that have "sentimental value". I found out that I was a pack rat the first time I moved. The next time, wasn't that bad, but the last time I realized that I had a problem. Now that I'm seven years into my latest house, I can see the accumulated "treasures" and realize that they need a quick "tweak". I also knew I needed a second opinion (other than my wife) and Monica IS that second opinion!
My attitude about what I AM saving hasn't changed much, but she did lead me in a direction where I can "de-frag" (like the computer hard drive) my possessions, and get them into a workable condition where, if they ARE of use, I know where to find them, and then after a while, know when to part ways if I don't use them! I don't know if I can really begin to inventory everything that lurks in my storage spaces, but I have a better idea or what's there!
I'm not quite there yet, but it's better! Thanks for the tips Monica, maybe I'll work on a little time management so I can tool around your site a little bit more!

My life. Better., February 7, 2010
This review is from: Your Life Organized (Kindle Edition)
Written in the same warm, winning style as her book (Organize Your Office in No Time), Ricci's blog, "Your Life. Organized" delivers a mix of motivation, organizing tips and even an inside look at what it's like to be not only a professional organizer, but also a national spokesperson and media darling. She takes us along for the ride, and she does it all with a wink.
Ricci may be hunkered down in the back of someone's clothes closet or presenting from the stage for a Fortune 500 company, philosophizing about our endless rush to get things done in the aisles at Trader Joe's or presenting hands-on tips to an anchor on national cable news. Wherever she is, Ricci brings her blog readers along, sharing her expertise and irreverent wit in equal doses. You may be tempted to laugh out loud while reading, and you're certain to pick up a useful tidbit or follow her links to the exact source (a product? a podcast?) you might not even have realized you needed.
Is this a "how to organize" blog, per se? Nope, and it doesn't purport to be. Sure, Ricci provides tips on how to organize everything from your fridge to clutter-free holiday gift shopping to your kids' artwork, but this blog provides more than expert advice on the tangible parts of life. "Your Life. Organized." provides new ways of looking at how to simplify your systems, your lifestyle and even your way of thinking, to help you achieve more and stress less. Weekly motivational quotes (and not the same old quotes you've seen a million times) give the reader a chance to pause and think...and get inspired.
And I'm *still* pointing people to her year-long "science experiment" testing exactly how biodegradable that "Treeless Tote" actually was. Some posts are goofy, some heartwarming, some useful and some behind-the-scenes sneaks. But no matter what the post, "Your Life. Organized." makes "My Life. Better."
