Your Song Is A Mix Sure To Rock Modern Rock,

Simple Plan has always been one of those groups that you knew was around, but really didn't care to pay attention to them. Now, they bring out their best work yet which is a mix of genres but comes out on top.
Musically, there's some hip-hop vibes, modern rock sounds and hardcore Linkin Park beat-downs. The chorus sounds like one you've heard about a million times, along with the lyrics dealing with an unfaithful lover. I think I've heard this story before. But Simple Plan does is better than the much overrated Linkin Park, and does it in a more radio-friendly vibe sure to please most modern rockers. So overall, take points away for unoriginality, give them some for musical mixing, give them a good spot on Modern Rock and props for giving themselves a voice, all the while leaving Linking Park in the dust. The taste of revenge seems to be pretty sweet with this song. |
