Excellent Remastered,

Now that this album has been remastered along with three others, it sounds absolutely fanstatic on a good stereo, the crispness of the instruments and the clarity you get is well above average.Your Mamma Won't like Me orginally released in 1975, was a a different sounding Suzi, with alot more Sax funky type rock n roll it is a must for all Rock n Roll lovers. Aggro Phobia orginally released in 1976 was different again going, for a more subdued style but with grunt with the music and a sensitive side to Suzi with the words. Both are excellent albums a must for all Suzi Quatro and Rock n Roll Lovers...

Suzi is a great singer. She can rock with the best, or mournfully pour out a ballad that really makes you feel the emotion. She never got to be a household name and I never really understood that. She was standing on the edge of the fame cliff for what seems like forever but never quite got all the way there. Not that I pity her or anything, she still was famous enough that I can imagine she's living comfortably enough. Anyways, give this cd a spin. Alot of great music on it including one of my all time personal favorites "Prisoner of your Imagination".

I remember seeing Ms. Quatro on the tour supporting "Your Mama Won't Like Me" She was the opening act for Alice Cooper's "Welcome to my Nightmare". I was a senior in high School, and full of hormones, which was exactly what she was looking for in her performance. I played this LP about a thousand times that year, and even now break out some Suzi on the rare occasion.
Your Mama WON'T LIKE Me, is somewhere settled between "Roadhouse Rock" and "Rockabilly" that didn't quite seem to make a big wave in the States, my brother saw her in Germany and said she was a bigger deal there. What I do know is that this was an album I enjoyed quite a bit! Strip m", "I bit off more than I could chew", and the title track are my favorites. 3.5*

YOUR MAMMA WON'T LIKE ME *****
With her third album, Suzi Quatro shifted direction from driving hard rock to a rock sound more informed by funk and jazz styles, delivering her best album in the process - one that uses Moog synthesizers, a brass section and back-up singers, Gonzalez, to wonderful, soul-stirring, "adult" effect. Again teamed with Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn for production and two singles (`Your Mamma Won't Like Me' and `I Bit Off More Than I Could Chew'), this album, like her debut (`Can the Can'), is bolstered by an excellent set of her own songs co-written with guitarist, Len Tuckey. `Prisoner of Your Imagination' is a beautiful epic that changes tempo between funk, hard rock and dreamy balladry, while `Strip Me' and `You Can Make Me Want You' are dark soulful exposés of manipulative love. `Can't Trust Love' and `New Day Woman' are both lovely cruisey jazz rock influenced tracks, as is the album's only cover - a sassy version of Peggy Lee's `Fever'. `Paralyzed' ensures an old style Quatro rocker appears on the list. And the closer, `Michael', is a haunting ballad that showcases Quatro's vocals at their emotional (and screaming) best. The super-charged funk of the Chapman-Chinn title track is emblematic of the high quality of the entire exercise. `Your Mamma Won't Like Me' caught Quatro at a creative, if not commercial peak. While it is definitely her greatest departure, you also get the impression it is her greatest expression of what she really wanted to record. Essential. AGGRO-PHOBIA ***1/2 As a fifth album, `Aggro-Phobia' shares something in common with Suzi Quatro's inferior second album, `Quatro' in that it has too many covers. But it is rocky and interesting enough, even if some of the production, particularly on the keyboards, is a little bizarre. Of the four covers, the opener, Elvis's `Heartbreak Hotel', is by far the best. Slowed down to a synthesizer-heavy dirge, it is an excellent rendition and a great opener. The others, however, are even more boring than the choices on `Quatro'. A lovely, faithful version of Cockney Rebel's `Make Me Smile' must have seemed peculiar at the time, given it had only just been a major hit for its composer the year before. `The Honky Tonk Downstairs' and `Wake Up Little Susie' are forgettable and pretty much a waste of time. The only Chapman/Chinn track is the gutsy single, `Tear Me Apart'. So yet again, the highlights are those written by Quatro and her guitarist husband. `Half As Much As Me' is a bitchy rocker and one of the best songs she has ever written.`Don't Break My Heart' is a deceptively simple country tinged ballad, while `Close the Door' and `American Lady' are middle of the road tunes that are nicely elevated by both the production and Quatro's under-rated vocals. Out of the ten tracks, manager, Mickie Most, produced nine. At times, this provides an oddly muffled result with strangely dated keyboard sounds - while at others, there are definite high points that will draw you back to this record. Mike Chapman produced the boisterous `What's It Like To Be Loved', the song most like her early career. While `Aggro-Phobia' is maybe nothing special for a casual listener, it has its surprises and is definitely an important addition for a Quatro collector.

I am very pleased with this cd. The shipping was quick and the condition of the product was excellent. I had this music on an old 8 track tape that had gotten lost years ago.I was surprised to find it on cd , but amazon had it. This cd also had extra songs on it that was not on my 8 track tape. If you like Suzi Quatro this is a great buy!
