Great Raw Health Resource Now In My Library!,
By
This review is from: Your Natural Diet: Alive Raw Foods (Paperback)
This book written by T.C. Fry, David Klein and contributing Living Nutrition magazine writers has been a great resource in my raw living journey. I found the guidelines, healthy habits, food analysis, keys for success and recipes all very helpful, not only for those new to the raw food diet, but for anyone on the path. The case for eating abundant fruits is well explained along with the historical background. And the case for eating raw food is well made, including the importance of detoxification and why disease is caused to begin with. It's an excellent resource and part of my library for life. If you're looking for the truth about food, disease, illness, diets and your health, you'll find it here and make it part of your library as well. All the best for your health!

Great Info & Inspiration for the Raw Journery!,
By
This review is from: Your Natural Diet: Alive Raw Foods (Paperback)
This is a great book to inspire you and keep you informed on the raw food diet path. It includes writings from the late legendary T.C. Fry, as well as a lot of research compiled by David Klein, author of several raw food books and publisher of Vibrance magazine.
This book is worth buying just for the Food Rating Chart alone! Every food is rated in four categories: it edibility/delectability factor, its harmfulness (even many raw natural foods have a bit of toxin), its digestibility/assimilability, and it nutritive value. But it has much more to offer, including arguments for the vegetarian diet, tips on how to stop overeating and how to transition to a raw diet, an entire section on avocados, a food combining chart, fantastic recipes, and much more. The book contains many tips that all people on a raw journey MUST know (such as the detriment of dried fruits on one's teeth) as well as many astonishing facts (such as a man who lived on only oranges for 6 years!). Every page contains interesting information that keeps the reader fully engaged.
