Book Description

May 28, 2001
Your Public Speaking Workout was written to help the business speaker who feels less than comfortable when standing up to speak. Confidence in speaking can be learned--indeed, it must be learned if a person wants to be noticed in a positive way. The format of 6 1/2 Steps makes the book easy to follow. The exercises are designed to help the reader actually take the steps toward having fun with public speaking. When a speaker is having fun, the audience is, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Phenomenal Book!, January 23, 2002

This review is from: Your Public Speaking Workout (Paperback)
After reading this book, I feel confident that I can speak comfortably in front of any group. In addition, I have just created a public workshop for my "sales training" program and I can't wait to utilize some of the tips in the book.

Yesterday morning I had the good fortune of speaking in front of 10 prospects with a sales presentation and my preparation due to the exercises in the book was outstanding.

Having read numerous other public speaking books including the Walters' book, this book is far superior because it gives me some excellent methodolgy which I can use in my sales profession as well as for my desire to take my training course to the next level.

Your public speaking success will skyrocket if you read this book and utilize the exercises.

I found that the book provides wonderful tips for becoming more at ease when speaking in small or large groups. I have used the techniques and with some practice... I have developed more confidence and comfort when speaking in front of a group or at meetings.

The great thing about this book is that it is so well written and easy to follow. The tips (and speaking techniques) benefit the experienced speaker and those wanting to become more comfortable with public speaking.

I highly recommend it.
