Not only did this book give me insights into my calling and finding my ideal job, but it also was very entertaining to read. I only wish I had read this 20 years ago! But I now know what questions to ask and how to go about finding my ideal job in the future. Thank you, Brian for writing this and sharing your journey in how to find the ideal job.

Wow! I must admit I was an angry skeptic, but no longer. The first principle in Brian's book I found offensive, that the best determiner of career success is the integrity of company management. You mean that career success is not up to me? It matters little what skills I have, what education, what job title? Floored by this first assumption, I intentionally reviewed my own career experience and was astonished. The best work I ever did was as a junior engineer, working for a manager who believed in me and set me loose to lead a massive project. Because of her I became a top flight engineer. I ate humble pie and realized Brian's right, and it required internalizing this new truth to redirect the focus of my job search. If you're searching for the right job, this is the right book to read. Just keep an open mind.

What an amazing Journey Brian took me on. I actually felt I had come face to face to my most intimidating caring boss, but wait that's Brian's Story. Anyway. This is a must read for anyone that's searching to bring out the best in themselves and others.

What an amazing book by Brian Golter. Besides all the fantastic real life stories, Brian points out to the reader that the reason you have not been as successful as you would have liked in your career was not exterior elements but more importantly interior beliefs. I can not tell you how much this book affected me from the inside. To me the book gave me wonderful advice to work on my self and how to effectively overcome fear that we all have and how they hold us back on our dreams and goals. The book is a confidence booster and super self awareness tool. From the moment I picked up the book I could not put it down. Outstanding job Brian, thank you so very much. I recommend everyone to read this book and start for the first time living the life you deserve.

This is not your conventional "how to find a job" book. Brian Golter shares his boss June's legacy (as well as his own) providing us with many great lessons all job hunters need to follow. It it written with elegance, honesty, and emotional vulnerability (with wonderful humor!) that connects right to the reader's heart and soul. I read it all in one sitting and felt a confidence for my job search growing inside me with each page. That's far more valuable than telling me what kind of paper to use for my resume! All career guidance books should be written this way. I can't wait for his next one.

I couldn't stop reading Your Right Job Right Now - it is life changing. It was remarkably unique and uplifting! The wisdom in this book is not just related to careers. It can translate to any aspect of the choices we make in life. Regardless of our job status, employed or unemployed, we need to be reminded that there is something better than just settling for what comes along. We can choose to never be that desperate. We have the power to "be our best selves" and to bring enthusiasm to our job search and interviews. Brian shows us how to overcome adversity, fight for the best, and he gives us the tools to triumph if we believe there is something special out there for us. He relays inspirational stories about real people who listened to words of wisdom when they most needed to hear them.

I don't know that I'd add too much to that, except to underscore it as a recommended book for people feeling stuck in or out of a job.

Remember how it feels to believe in yourself? I do now! That is the feeling I reconnected with after reading this book. You will see how to apply that feeling to every facet of your life, not just in the "job hunt." Brian Golter shares some of his life experiences, along with the qwerky wisdom and unconventional teachings of June Gregory in this captivating collection of true stories. You will see you are not alone - there is light if you choose to see it. Great book!

This book is really set apart from the other job-seeking books I have read. It not only gives practical advice, but in a biographical story that makes it hard to put down. It has allowed me to really look at the career choices I have made and to see where I can correct the course now - much more than just how to rewrite my resume. The advice Golter gives goes way beyond just getting a job, but will really effect many other areas of my life. I am so glad I read it!

This book goes way beyond finding the right job. Brian Golter takes you on an eye opening journey that will help you face some of your deepest fears and, in the process find what's really in your heart to be and to do. All of us want to live a life that is meaningful and has impact. This book will help you to actually do it.
