As a caring Rottweiler owner, you want the best for your pet. But you may not know all the special steps you need to take to raise a happy, healthy Rottweiler. Inside—what every Rottweiler owner wants to know:

• Is a Rottweiler the right dog for me?
• How do I choose the best food for all stages of my Rottweiler's life?
• Do Rottweilers make good companions for children?
• What's the best way to house-train my dog?
• How do I teach my dog to come when I call?

I have never read a book before about Rottweilers that instantly grabbed your attention like Kim Dearth's book Your Rottweiler's Life. Kim has approached the subject from every side: a helpful veterinarian's guide, a dog trainer's 'how to', and a selection of stories with a personal touch from people who own and live with Rottweilers.

I recommend this book to anyone that is thinking of buying an Rottweiler or to anyone that is new to the breed. I find that the information is up to date, accurate, and very instructive. Ms Dearth gives advice on all aspects of ownership and many humorous insights into the personality of this breed. I sincerely hope that anyone thinking about adding a Rottweiler to their family, will read this book first!

4.0 out of 5 stars Your Rottweiler's Life, March 9, 2000
This review is from: Your Rottweiler's Life: Your Complete Guide to Raising Your Pet from Puppy to Companion (Your Pet's Life) (Paperback)
A truly loving and detailed book that could be titled "Your Rottweiler's Life with You". This book offers respectful and caring guidance for bringing a Rottweiler into your family, and what it is like to live with and care for one of these large dogs. This book was written with "heart" and attention to detail and is an excellent addition to the Rottweiler fan's library. It is especially useful for someone considering buying or adopting a Rottweiler and for a first time owner.
