5.0 out of 5 stars Mindfulness made simple March 18, 2010
By V. Boyd
Format:Paperback
A wonderful little book whose elegance is in its simplicity. This is for anyone seeking to live life more deeply, meaningfully, more closely to the marrow. It's the Buddhist way laid plain for the Western mind. I've been searching for a long time for a way to turn my desire to live more mindfully into a habit of mindfulness. Your To-Be List has moved me closer than anything else. It's a permanent fixture on my nightstand now, there to dip into whenever I need a nudge back toward my better self. The authors also maintain a companion website, [...], that is updated daily and has become a daily source of inspiration for me.

Like all of us in today's world, I lead a life full of "To-Do's". I find myself lost and overwhelmed by my list often. Lauren and Jamie have found a way to shift my perspective. They have helped me recognize the opportunities "To-Be" that my "To-Do List" provides. This book helps maintain my focus on what life is really trying to teach me during even the most trying days. I always thought that I barely had time to sleep let alone work on ME. I was wrong. Kudos to the authors!!
