After reading the Amazon description for this book, I decided to download it to my Kindle, not with the intention of losing weight, though I could afford to drop 10 to 15, but to better understand how to use Twitter. I have read other works by this author and knew that she would be able to explain Twitter in common sense terms and it would also include a certain amount of humor. I was right on both accounts.

I dabbled in Twitter a few times, but did not understand the ins and outs of a "Follow" "Following", "Hashtags", and "Lists" to name a few. She was able to describe these things in easy to understand ways that you can put right to good use. I literately read this book with my Twitter account open on my computer. I'd read a page or two; then try what she was teaching me. Unlike most "How-To" books, she steps you through setting up you account, to the proper settings and then even shares her settings and explains how they all interrelate with each other.

Even if dieting is not your thing; this is a great read about how to use Social Media for most anything. I recently took up the game of golf. I am applying Rebecca's principals from "Your Twitter Diet" to improving my golf game. Presently, I am building my own "Support" group of Twitter hackers just like myself. We are sharing golf tips, how to land the best discounts and what's real story on the latest's golf clubs.

I highly recommend this book, it's a great deal, download a copy today.

I picked up a copy of this book because, well, because I am a diet book hoarder. I have more than I care to admit on my kindle but this one was different. I actually read this one! I know very little about twitter but have spent the majority of my adult life on a diet (and as a result I am currently 20 pounds over weight).

I loved this book! Very well written, lots of humor, step by step instructions for setting up my twitter account and how to use it to find support for my weight loss journey. Lots of helpful tips and insight. I just can't recommend it enough! If you want something different than the barage of diet books currently being offered, I would definitely recommend you get this one!

Decided to download this. It intrigued me because the combo of twitter and weight loss. I need help with both. And what I really enjoyed was how easily it put twitter into words that I could understand. I now check in with my twitter "friends" , just like going to a weight loss meetings but at a fraction of the <one time> cost. They also send me encouragement everyday such as "drink water" "be good at your party, you can do it". I also like that I can refresh my memory on the "hows" of twitter, quickly just by scanning the book again. And also, what a great buy. Download this one, you won't be sorry. :)

I'm a professional dieter. And a professional reader. Amateur social media champion.

All of these prompted me to give "Your Twitter Diet" a whirl, and I'm glad I did. It's filled with easy-to-understand, practical and light-hearted tips and advice that can be applied to not only your diet, but social media platforms as well.

These pointers will work if you're carb-free, fat-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, meat-free or just McDonald's-free. Any dieter will tell you support is critical, and this book gives you the tools necessary to create your own support system from scratch. Tweet a friend about this.

This book was incredibly informative for a moron like me. I wasn't so keen on the twitter front but Rebecca's book really taught me the purpose of twitter. She has created an incredibly hip way to stop me from eating that cake especially if I have had too much wine at midnight. Calling everyone that has cravings!!! Calling everyone confused by twitter!!! 110% creative and her own...so isn't it time to make your weight? Plus her writing style is so down to earth and really funny.

100,000 stars not pounds!!!

Great read! Rebecca has figured out how to use twitter for something we all REALLY need. Great tips for how to use social media to support healthier living. Opened me up to a new world of online friends and communities that have helped me stick to my goals. Better still, it's witty, informative and helped me figure out how to tweet. Money well spent!
