This book is a treasure for mothers. Whether your children are very young or already in high school, you will find a thought for every day between the covers of this book. Each chapter is short enough for anyone to obtain spiritual regeneration no matter how hectic the day. Mrs. Penny addresses day-to-day problems and suggests how we can apply them to our advantage with remarkable insight. Knowing that she is also a mother facing the same problems and seeing how she has found God's hand in all things is an encouragement to us all. Nobody who reads this book will be disappointed!

This book is for any mother, Catholic or not, that needs a gentle reminder that our true vocation in life is caring for our children. There are days we all have where we just would like to sit down and cry because we're not doing 'our job' to our family or think we can't look at another load of laundry or sink of dishes. Truth is God gives us what He knows we can handle and nothing more, this book helps keep it all in perspective. Great read!
