Ms. Blake's second offering is better than her first and that was a pretty darn good book. This time we are off to New Orleans and a search for our heroine Stephanie's missing sister. She finds more in New Orleans than a mising sibling, she finds her heart and sensuality as well.

Stephanie has come from Chicago looking for her sister Tina who has turned to a lifestyle that shocks Stephanie. Armed with faith, a few pictures, and a lot of guts, Stephanie goes to Chez Sophia looking for her sister. Instead she finds ex-cop turned bartender Jake Broussard. Their first meeting is hot and stays with them both long after she has left the sensual location. She has no idea though that trouble is on it's way in the form of yummy, sexy cajun Jake.

Jake has walked away from his old life with no plans on taking up where he left off...caring way to much. Than in walks Stephanie. He can tell right off that this lady is in the wrong place and there will never be a right time either. Despite his best intentions he agrees to help her find her sister...provided she stays out of the way. It would probably be easier not to have a hurricane blow than to keep Stephanie out of trouble. Despite her lack of listening...Jake is drawn to her and when everything is said and done will he allow his heart into her keeping?

This was a great read. Steamy, sensual, with just the right amount of suspense to keep the reader engaged. Ms. Blake has established that she has what it takes to create stories that a reader will want to pick up. I highly recommend this fast-paced read and I look forward to her next offering.

A woman disguises herself as a high-priced call girl to help find her missing sister in Toni Blake's latest steamy novel, IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. It's a sizzling hot romance that takes place in the heart of New Orleans. Jake Broussard is a local New Orleans ex-cop who is now working as a bartender at an exclusive club called the Chez Sophia. Stephanie Grant is a sexually naive woman from Chicago who thinks she can disguise herself as a call girl in order to find her missing younger sister Tina.

When the two meet the sparks fly. Jake teaches Stephanie a lot of things behind closed doors, but Stephanie's main objective is to find her sister, who she thinks is now a prostitute. Jake doesn't want a committed relationship, but unfortunately Stephanie starts to subconsciously think that he really loves her. The sex is hot, and Stephanie tries to remind herself that after they find Tina, it's "goodbye, Jake".

The author does a good job with the sexy love scenes, but the subplot involving the runaway Shondra felt like it did not belong. While Jake's involvement with the young teen showed a different side of him that the reader will love, this part of the story felt a bit awkward as it seemed to abrupt the flow of the rest of the book.

On the other hand, Jake's past with Becky was a welcome part of the story, as it explained why he had a hard time getting seriously involved with any woman, including Stephanie. The author teases the reader, throwing out hints who Becky was, until their history is finally explained.

IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS had plenty of sexy erotic scenes for those who love their romances hot and wild. However, for those who like their romances a little bit more tame, this may not be for you. The mystery behind the missing Tina adds a dimension to the novel that the reader will enjoy. I personally didn't care for Stephanie, however, who was a bit too naive for me when it came to life on the streets. Conversely, I enjoyed Jake's character. He's what romance readers are looking for when they grab their latest romance novels. I'm giving this novel 3 stars for the story line, and would have rated it higher if I had liked the main character a little bit more.

Jake Broussard, ex cop, now bartender is still reeling from a tragedy in his past. He has cut himself off from this old life but seeing Stephanie brings him back to feeling again. Jake feels the need to protect Stephanie though she doesn't think she needs protection.

While looking for her sister they go deeper into the steamy world of New Orleans. Jake and Stephanie explode in the erotic world of desire and emotions. Their attraction is one of the most provocative in print. Jake and Stephanie also overcome issues from long ago to grow and blossom.

Toni Blake writes a stellar story. She weaves the steamy side along with a compelling story that grabs you and makes you want more.

Toni Blake's books just get better and better as she continues to delight us with her talent in creating believable, desirable characters and weaving wonderful stories.

I predict New Orleans will be on everyone's vacation list after reading this book. I'm tempted to buy an extra copy just to send to the New Orleans Visitor's and Convention Bureau!

Stephanie Grant is on the hunt. The hunt for her missing little sister, Tina. Her journey takes her into the heart of New Orleans and the seedy side of prostitutes and high priced call girls. On her first venture into Chez Sophia, one of New Orleans prominent clubs where rich, powerful men go for beautiful, pricey women, Stephanie realizes that she is way out of her element. Despite feeling like a fish out of water, Stephanie will do what she must to find her sister. When she meets Jake Broussard, the cop turned bartender offers to help her find Tina. Now they are on more than a journey for a missing person. Jake also helps Stephanie let go of her inhibitions and repressed desires to feel passion once again. Stephanie soon finds that she is developing strong feelings for Jake. Will he return those feelings? Can he love her back? Now she has to find her sister and keep the man she loves.

Jake Broussard is a man haunted by sinfully erotic dreams. He needs a woman, and the new call girl Stephanie Grant looks like a good choice. Stephanie is not a call girl at all, so for her own protection Jake takes her under his wing. Jake is haunted by ghosts from his past and would like nothing more than to battle them in peace, while at the same time find his wife's killer. The Good Samaritan in him doesn't agree and he continues to offer his help, finding himself emotionally drawn in. No one draws him in as much as Stephanie does. She deserves so much more than what he can give her. But, before Jake can love again, he must first solve his wife's murder.

I love Stephanie's strong willed character. I also admire Stephanie's loyalty to her sister and her willingness to go anywhere and do anything to find Tina. Stephanie is strong, capable and competent, but when she gets around Jake, her vulnerability starts to show itself. Jake is protective, caring and handsome. His need to care for those around him make him a very attractive hero.

In Your Wildest Dreams is a hot read. The sexual tension between Stephanie and Jake is as sultry as the New Orleans night air. I love the way this couple fight how they feel for each other when together, but when they are apart, they yearn the other. Together they are a very explosive couple.

Jake's helping Stephanie overcome her sexual hurdles left me breathless and panting for more. Jake's intensely erotic dreams had nothing to do with his skill in helping Stephanie, but they sure were hot to read!! They gave me a few hot dreams of my own! Jake and Stephanie make the pages sizzle and my blood boil. Get a copy of In Your Wildest Dreams today because it's wilder than you can imagine!

A terrific read! Stephanie and Jake light up the New Orleans night (and days too!) with the kind of sizzling love scenes you can always count on in a novel from Ms. Blake. Best of all, she manages to deliver yet another book that's more than just a super-sexy romance... it's a story with real heart. You'll be cheering for Stephanie and Jake - and the supporting cast too - every step of the way.

This is hot romance at its finest! A definite keeper. Jake Broussard is the kind of heart melting hero everyone adores.

Toni Blake's writing style is one that you will come back for time after time. She has the ability to create characters who live in your mind long after the last page is read. Jake is a tortured hero with a haunted past and Stephanie is a determined woman who comes to New Orleans to look for her younger sister. The storyline that weaves around these characters is breathtaking. The added bonus to the story with the addition of Shondra, a teenage runaway, was great. Also, the detailed description of New Orleans as well as Jake's Cajun accent made this book an awesome late summer read. I'll be waiting in line for this author's next book!

New Orleans is the perfect setting for this hot and steamy romance. A former cop with a painful past is just marking time as a bartender, but this sexy hero's better instincts force him into the present when a sexually-repressed heroine disrupts his carefully maintained equilibrium. As the two search in the shady world of high and low-priced callgirls for the heroine's missing sister, dark passions erupt. The hero awakens the heroine to her untapped sensuality as this stimulating couple finds there way to a future filled with happily-ever-after.

"In Your Wildest Dreams" is a must read for the summer or anytime. I can't think of a better way to spend a hot day on the beach than with a hot sexy cajun. Wow...I loved this book. The "Red Diary" was exceptional, but "In Your Wildest Dreams" is supurb!! Way to go Toni...you just keep getting better and better!!
