Classic pop music by Albert Hammond. An exellent collection of songs which deserved far more recognition.It's such a pity that he has'nt produced more like this. "Take me sailing" and "When I'm Gone" stand out in a cd that has not got a poor song.

Listened to this album as a teenager, and have never forgotten it. Finally, have just got it on CD. Beautiful lyrics. Lovely music. Would never claim to be big into music, but you can't help falling in love with this album. A classic.

This is a very clever album with vintage songs..but..always new.
Albert Hammond was one of the best light-singer that I've known in the last twenty years..He has a great voice..that makes a great performance on the base-songs of the album.
I'm sure that Albert..with Joan Baez is an artist that we should listen more than we do.
This album is very old..but..take my advice..buy it.

I heard this album for the first time during my university years.

I can tell you that this was one of the most played albums during this time. One of my friends had the tape in his car and we kept playing it on an on for years without getting boared.

I am sure you will do the same

I really liked Albert Hammond, especially his 70s work. This CD is Albert at his continued best. My favorite has to be "When I'm Gone," which is a typical loved-and-lost song. The other songs are typical Albert. Many of my favorite 70s singers that were on the lighter side (Neil Diamond, etc) made early 80s albums that I didn't like. Albert does not follow this trend. This album is just as good (if not better) than his 1976 album "When I Need You." The only drawback is that this CD is an import and is fairly pricey.

Simply great. You will never grow tired listening to those great songs.

This album is very scarce and is a must for Albert Hammond fans. Romantic love songs, excellent music. Get it, now !

I know it's an old time ago record, but it's definitely a must have, the songs are great, the album you need if you're into the romantic songs kind of style.
