This book is a wonderful explanation if you have more than one child at how they can be completely different but they are all special and loved. It shows that no matter if they are a boy or girl or have different features they are all loved unconditionally. I love this book and so do my girls ages 4 and 2. highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for triplet Moms, October 19, 2004

I received this as a gift for my triplets. It is wonderful at illustrating that it is possible for them to all be your favorites because of, not in spite of their differences!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Book For Parents of Two + Children, September 17, 2004

(REAL NAME)
Sometimes it is hard for children to understand exactly how a parent can love each of them the same. It relates well the anxieties they may feel and reassures them, that love is limitless and generous.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great book when a new baby comes, August 7, 2005
We got this book when our second child was born. I think it has helped our older child cope with the loss of attention. He can understand that even though he has to share his parents now, it's not because we don't love him anymore or that the baby is our favorite. It's a fabulous book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A gentle story of love and favoritism, January 3, 2005
Anita Teram's lovely drawings are a winning addition to Sam McBratney's moving story of a Mommy Bear and father who tell their cubs that each is the best baby bear. But the siblings are growing and question how they ALL could be favorites of their parents. You're All My Favorites is gentle story of love and favoritism evolves with a simple, warming message.

5.0 out of 5 stars I needed 7 copies, January 7, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought seven copies of this for my seven adult children. It is a delightfully illustrated, simple and beautiful children's book about the unique gifts that children have in their parents' eyes. My wife and I plan to write individual inscriptions and present them to our children to read to their children.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for family with 3 kids, August 19, 2011

I received this book as a gift when I had my third child. Has a nice little theme- teaches children that there is enough love to go all around- each are special. I ended up giving as gift also- not that many books out there that hit this theme with 3 children.

5.0 out of 5 stars I like the dog., August 8, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I include this as one of the standard packet of books that I give to couples expecting a baby. If the expected arrival has an older sibling or siblings I expecially present it to them lest they think Mom 'n Dad prever their younger/youngest sibling. It is so easy to feel left out when the adults are fussing over a new baby that those grown ups should make it a point to fuss instead over the children already there.

My kids remember a standing family joke. When asked which was our favorite child my wife and I always named the dog. To this date it gets a chuckle or too. Maybe this book helped get the message across that all your children are your favorites...except for the dog, of course.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for siblings, May 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We bought this book back in November for my husband's first two children. He signed the copies before he left for Iraq. When our child was born in April, the big brother's received the books as their present from the baby. It made them feel special even though it was the baby's big day. It was even more special that their father who was so far away had taken the time to sign them and send a message with each one.

I like this book but only gave it 4 stars because I think the illustrations could be more colorful.
