fun for babies
My baby loved this book from 3 months on. She loves when we sing the suggested verses to her and really relates to the watercolour illustrations of the other babies inside.

Text = incomplete lyrics
I was hoping for a book whose words I could sing to my 14-month-old. But each page contains only what you do when "you're happy and you know it," for example, simply "clap your hands" or "roll around". (She won't sit still for me to sing an entire verse for each page!) I am sure my daughter would enjoy the nice illustrations but it's not what I"m looking for.

I bought this ebook for my granddaughter who loves the rhyme. It down loaded ok on my Mac book but not on my ipad2 or touch.
It is black and white on them. I asked for help from customer service and they recommended reloading kindle but it didn't help. I am reluctant now to buy a book before I know how it will download.

This book has the actual song (written music) on the back of the book. The lyrics are of course the traditional lyrics we all grew up with, and some I never knew were part of it. It is very sturdy, and very well illustrated. I look forward to sharing it with my grandson.

Do not buy this for the Kindle!!!!
I thought it would be fun on the road to have the Kindle version of this book. Crappy black&white scanning. Scanning artifacts show up on the pictures. Cheers!

I was really disappointed in this book. The illustrations are really not that good and the text is, well, pathetic. Even as a board book for a baby, it'd really not worth the $5.99. You're better off just singing the song to your little one.
