The book is outstanding! Writing in a clear and pointed style, the author distills the wisdom she has gained in thirty years of experience as a preacher and a teacher of preaching. At last, a practical, readable guide and help for congregations seeking a new Pastor. The wisdom in this book could save a church or a ministry. Any pulpit or pastor search committee will be grateful to have a guide such as this. Also, I would like to express my appreciation to Amazon.com for making this book available. I served on a pulpit committee 7 years ago and this book was invaluable. I gave my book to a friend. Now that I am in need of a new one, I thought it would be difficult to locate. Thanks Amazon!
