The greatest self-help book ever! Dr. Gribin gives good practical advise on issues that all of us face in life. Written with expertise and a clever sense of humor. I cannot count how many times I laughed while reading this book. This is a book that you will not want to lend to other because you will find yourself going back and referring to it often.

I now know that, I am not nuts......I just have issues! Thanks Dr. Gribin.

Sometimes, when everyday life seems to be a chore, you find it hard to smile and tend to cry before you laugh. It is in these times one hopes to find something to break this pattern. This book You're Not Nuts...You've Just Got Issues, helped me to do just that. Therefore, it made it easy to pick up and read. I found there to be many helpful suggestions. Some which I already knew yet had forgotten, and some which were new to me. Of course, there were those which had entirely too much math involved. Here my totally unmathematical brain skimmed right over. Those suggestions and examples are good for my husband, as he tends to also think in mathematical ways. (Is this a guy thing?) Best of all, throughout this book, Dr. Gribin's sense of humor definitely shines through! I even had a few "belly laughs!" (Those are hard to come by these days.) So thanks, thanks for a book well written. Thanks for your knowledge, your helpful suggestions and you're so funny ... "Dr. Gribin" sense of humor.

Dr. Gribin has produced a quick, easy and funny read about therapy. It makes seeking the help of a psychologist more accessible for the general public. Not one person living modern westernized society is immune from the "issues" Gribin covers. The book is easily readable because of all the humor it injects, however it also is filled with many of the brutal realities of life. For example, Gribin walks you through what it is really like (especially what it really costs you) to get a divorce (just to be with that bimbo that you think really listens to you).
This is probably the first self-help book to buck up the reader by accepting the mediocrity of their life, instead of adding lots more stress by constantly trying to attain things they (and most everyone else), cannot have. If you don't have the yacht, the perfectly beautiful woman, the multi-million dollar company you built on your own, etc, etc, it does not mean you are a failure. Gribin uses logic a statistics throughout the book to make his points. This basis in reality is a comfort for the reader. Whether you are wondering if you have the right girlfriend, or you are at the end of your emotional rope, this will book will go a long way in getting you to smartly decide on your next action.
